A day How a day may go!..

                             Up at first light with a song and great joy for another day!

                      Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, with bittings and watch the dawn evolve!

                             AND off we go..  A NEW DAY!!!

                                                         ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE!!!

                                  What will the day bring??!!..

                           Most traveling is done in the early hours of the morning, when

                                  it is cool and we are most likely to see wildlife.

   A couple of riding camels accompany us, carrying light refreshments, your personal day packs                   and the breakfast - which we normally stop for around mid-morning.

       Every thing from fresh fruits, cereal, eggs, and bacon are on offer.. followed by probably                             the most delicious cup of freshly boiled coffee you can remember!!

                        Meanwhile, the camp is packed up and loaded onto the camels.

      The team soon catch up with us usually in time for a cup of tea with the advance group...

        We continue walking with the whole camel train, which is always a wonderful feeling, and                                   generally we find a place to camp after mid-day.

 The camels are quickly relieved of their burdens and are set free to browse for the rest of the day.                    The camp takes shape very quickly and soon lunch is ready, consisting

                                      of cold meats, cheeses and fresh salads.

           The afternoon is yours to do as you like - often a siesta is called for under the shade

                        of an acacia tree, lulled by the clunk of wooden camel bells.

      When the heat of the day subsides, the sleeping arrangements are made, consisting of            comfortable beds (mattresses on the floor) in mosquito/bug proof tent nets under the stars.

            The cool of the evening is perfect for an evening stroll or climbing a hill to admire

                          the views and absorb the total tranquility of the bush at dusk

                                                                        OR

         you may like to challenge the Samburu at a game of football or rounders in the lugga!

                                 Back in camp a beautiful real 'bush' shower awaits you!

   The camels are hobbled for the night, as we sit around the camp fire enjoying a few drinks

   and bittings..  Dinner will be tasty and healthy served under light of the  moon and candles.

        One usually 'hits the hay' rather early after a day full of action from morning to evening!!

                            The thrill of falling asleep under the vast bowl of a silent universe,

                                                  a billion stars bright as diamonds;

                                  to HEAR the crack of a twig under an elephants foot;

                                                                               OR

                                                          to FEEL the roar of the lion

                - these are ingredients that make this a safari you will never forget!
